The Beast With Two Backs

Shakespeare is an English classic, for sure. But fuck “to be or not to be” and all the other questions. Who is Hamlet anyway? Or Romeo and Juliet? Came to think about Shakespeare when hanging out in the park and some girl passed me by reading out loud. I didn’t get what she was reading but wondered what it could be…

However, Othello features my favourite line in Shakespeare’s work actually. Although I didn’t read all his stuff I have to admit. Here it comes: “I am one, sir, that comes to tell you your daughter and the Moor are now making the beast with two backs” (Othello, 1604).
