Bruno Mars’ Liquor Store Blues

Bruno Mars entered the scene with music for women, like the annoying Beautiful Girls. But he can’t be reduced to that anymore. His album Doo-Wops & Hooligans (can there be a more promising title) is pretty good.

Especially the Damian Marley feature Liquor Store Blues is great, given the rather uplifting music and the not that rejoicing lyrics. On the Other Side, a song by Bruno Mars, Cee-Low Green and B.oB, is another fantastic track on Doo-Wops & Hooligans. Check it out:

Bruno Mars hat in letzter Zeit vor Allem durch Frauenmusik vom Feinsten von sich hören gemacht. Dass er mehr kann als “Beautiful Girls”, zeigt er auf seinem Album Doo-Wops & Hooligans. Der Titel klingt ja schon vielversprechend und das Album hält gewissermaßen, was hier versprochen wird.

Neben den Schnulzen sind demnach auch Perlen wie das Damian Marley Feature Liquor Store Blues und die Zusammenarbeit mit Cee-Low Green und B.o.B zu finden, On the Other Side, die durchaus hörenswert sind!
