Another Summer

Right now i really can’t wait for the summer, I’m so fed up with the grey and cold city. The fact that it is a town full of losers, as the Tacticians would probably call it, doesn’t help either. But I like where I’m living, just like Leonard Cohen stating about New York in Famous Blue Raincoat.

Another Summer, still, is what i can’t wait for. Just to be able to “take a walk through the fields to get lonely” as swedish singer Anders Wendin, who is better known as Moneybrother, puts it in this song.

Somehow, Just Another Summer brings this photograph to my mind. At least to me, it pretty much captures the spirit of the song. It’s a work by Samuel Bradley, who does some amazing offbeat photography.
