Indelicate Art

The Indelicates are another great band from the UK. The lovely voice of Julia Indelicate, an ex-member of the Pipettes combined with Simon Indelicates incredible voice, lead to a really good combination. I’m into contradictions I have to say, but that doesn’t mean that I have a split personality or whatever. It’s just that there is so much great music out there. In terms of contradictions, Julia’s voice might bring Coeur de Pirate to mind.

The lyrics by the Indelicates, however, are brilliant and the music is great, so make sure to give them a listen!

I’ve seen them twice by now and I don’t regret it at all. They have even taken a rather anti-capitalistic stance, meaning that you can download their music for free. So there isn’t really a reason not to like them. Despite their obsession with death maybe, which is a recurring theme in their videos.
